Our client is currently undergoing an exciting strategic change. Led by their recently appointed CEO, along with a newly formed Executive Leadership Team, the business has ambitious plans for growth. It aims to achieve this by leveraging its core strengths in established channels and product categories, while building capability and competency in new and emerging channels. E commerce will form a key focus moving forward and represent a significant engine of growth in the future, resulting in this highly critical recruitment to bring a proven, skilled and established e commerce leader into this fast evolving organisation.
The Sales Director will manage and lead the development of all profitable E Com channel plans through commercially driven, portfolio relevant and high value Joint Business Plans, relationship building and in leading a high performing team. You will create growth strategies that cope with the variances within customer performances to ensure the overall business plans are met or exceeded.
You must be able to demonstrate
You will bring outstanding commercial capability , with expertise in E Commerce sales including experience of dealing with Amazon and a proven track record of developing high value relationships at a senior level across multiple functions.
Similarly, you are a highly effective team player with the ability to understand the bigger picture and act accordingly, in tandem with bringing excellent motivational skills and the ability to identify and nurture talent. Equally, you will be highly competitive with a strong desire to win through innovative thinking and able to deliver at pace.
You’ll thrive in taking personal responsibility for decisions and actions and be very results driven.
Experience of P&L management beyond volume and turnover with a sound understanding of business profit/cost drivers, gained within a consumer / branded led business will be key.
