Annabel Weeden

I’m Annabel, a Partner in bpe search’s CPG practice. I specialise in executive search and board advisory, partnering with organisations that are navigating growth, change and leadership transition. I’m known for a thoughtful, people first approach and for building long term relationships based on trust, openness and good judgement.

I work closely with Chairs, CEOs, and investors to appoint Board level leaders and their SLTs across all functional areas. With an early career in Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Mars confectionery I gained a true understanding of being at the commercial coalface in FMCG and a people-centric approach to solving business problems. My headhunting experience includes working twice at Korn Ferry and spans over 15 years working with well-established blue-chip businesses through to PE backed and high growth organisations, where the quality of leadership can make a real difference to business performance and culture. Alongside executive appointments, I also support Non Executive Director hiring and act as a trusted adviser to boards and leadership teams.

My approach is practical, supportive, and commercially grounded, combining clear advice with a rigorous search process that delivers strong outcomes. These values have helped me build a reputation for discretion, integrity and for presenting high quality shortlists that give clients confidence at every stage of the process.

I have a particular interest in how experience is assessed at senior level and the role intergenerational teams can play in driving performance. I’m comfortable challenging hiring assumptions where they risk overlooking proven leadership capability.
