Introduction

An agile, high-paced FMCG manufacturer with clear growth ambition and an objective to create a culture of high performance, is seeking an Interim HR Director.

The Role

Working closely with the MD, you will lead the People agenda and begin the process of transforming the HR function from a reactive department to pro-active business partners.

You will support all functions on people-related initiatives and provide decisive and timely recommendations to improve engagement, drive performance, manage talent or resolve challenges.

In professionalising processes and KPIs you will bring new ideas, ways of working and improvements without stifling the company’s pace and agility.

In a relatively lean organisation, this will be a busy and all-encompassing role in which two days are rarely the same.

 

 

You must be able to demonstrate

An established HR Director with experience of working in several FMCG or Consumer Products businesses

First-hand experience of working with functional directors, ideally a combination of sales, marketing and operations

Evidence of professionalising HR functions and moving from reactive to pro-active

Pragmatic and commercially aligned approach to business partnering, a “sleeves rolled up” leader

Track record of helping to improve team performance and create a winning culture

Best suited to a fast-paced, pragmatic, collaborative and goal-orientated leadership style
