Introduction
This innovative and market-leading consumer goods manufacturer are looking for a rare talent to join the UK Supply Chain Leadership Team as Planning & Logistics Director.
The Role
This role is truly multi-faceted with accountability for Customer Demand Planning, Supply Planning and end-to-end Distribution and Warehousing in the UK, as well as all brands exported from the UK. This includes all elements of operational performance, distribution strategy development, people leadership and team development plus responsibility for the 3rd party logistics contract.
You will be tasked with leading, coaching, engaging and developing a large team of outstanding people across the Planning and Logistics function, ensuring the company has exceptional succession plans and talent in place.
You must be able to demonstrate
We would welcome applications from senior level Planning and Logistics professionals who have leadership experience across these functions within food, beverages or consumer goods. You’ll be able to demonstrate significant achievements and leadership capability with outstanding communication, analysis and influencing skills. You’ll also have the world class technical capability across planning (Customer Demand and Supply) and logistics with a flair for innovation.
We need someone who can identify and implement suitable technological platforms and ideally someone who has IBP leadership accountability and can exhibit a track record of change management, on multimillion-pound transformation projects.
